The "Type" feature on many older windows operating systems was a very useful feature, as it helped the user to find something by typing an email address or name. Unfortunately, this feature has been discontinued and has never been found in the new versions of windows. So now when you type a name, email or internet service address, the system uses its search engine to try and find the information that it will display. If the result is not found, the name or email address does not show up, even if it is correct.
If you download an application, and you can change the option of "Set as default" under the control panel of windows, then you can set your name, email and internet service as default items in your operating system. You can then easily set them up to show in the software by using the type option. To set this feature, first of all, go to the control panel of windows and open up the properties of the option of "Set as default". Click on the link "system" and then type in your desired settings, such as name, email and internet service and click the "Save Changes" button.
You can also get rid of this annoying feature by running the program in a new windows version, to enable the new windows version to run on the old system. Simply download and install the windows version of the software you are running, and then run the application again. After you do this, your computer will display the option of "Run this program as a new program". Choose this option and choose the new version of windows.
